To enable Ukrainian veterans, who sustained injuries and traumas in action, to represent our country and the army at international adaptive sports competitions.

The Invictus Games in Ukraine promote both physical and psychological recoveryand social integration of Ukrainian servicemen and veterans, encourage doing sports, working on personal development, and positive mindset.

CBA Initiatives Center has been a co-organizer of the national trials for The Invictus Games since 2019. Specialists of the Department of the Veteran Affairs are involved in the selection and training of the team, accompanying it at all stages of preparation and at the competition itself.

We support the main goal of The Invictus Games Foundation, which is promoting the development and dissemination of adaptive sports as an effective means of rehabilitation of defenders who sustained an injury. We also motivate society and the government to build the necessary conditions for this project.

Project goals

This project was made possible thanks to the fundraising campaign "Support the Invincible"  organized by "Come Back Alive" together with INTERTOP.

We worked hard to make the best use of the benefactors’ donations to the "Support the Invincible" project as efficiently as possible. We are also grateful for the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, which, in addition to the funds raised, added about 9 million UAH from the state funds. And we are grateful to NATO Trust Fund on Medical Rehabilitation, Support to Patients, whose donation of over 1,5 mln of UAH covered all logistics costs.
