Adaptive Sports Workshops for Veterans to Take Place in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk
As part of the “Our Here” project, CBA Initiatives Center is launching a series of free workshops for veterans called “How Adaptive Sports Support Recovery.” The workshops aim to demonstrate the impact of sports on veterans’ recovery and provide tools to help develop adaptive sports in local communities.
Each event will last three hours and include both theoretical and practical components. Participants will learn about adaptive sports experiences and try out activities such as Olympic archery, wheelchair basketball, boccia, and other adaptive sports.
The first workshops will take place on:
- June 21 in Lviv – Municipal Shooting Range “Strilnytsia,” 23b Lysenko Street
- June 22 in Ivano-Frankivsk – VeteranCivil Petros Space, Promprylad Renovation, 23 Ukrainskoi Peremohy Street (entrance via Melnyka Street)
Both workshops start at 11:00 AM.
Additional workshops are planned in other cities:
- June 29 – Kyiv
- July 19 – Odesa
- July 20 – Dnipro
Participation is free, but prior registration is required.
