Registration is now open for a sitting volleyball sports camp for veterans: how to join
The CBA Initiatives Center, together with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, announces the call for participants for a sitting volleyball sports camp. The camp will take place from June 30 to July 4, 2025, in Kyiv.
This is an opportunity to try different adaptive sports, recover effectively, and spend time among peers. Participants can be veterans and servicemen/women who have visible or invisible injuries, wounds, or illnesses.
What will participants do at the sports camp?
- Train and try new adaptive sports;
- Work with physical therapists and massage specialists;
- Receive psychological support;
- Socialize and connect with peers;
- Enjoy recreational activities such as pottery, fishing, board games, and movie nights.
Who is eligible to join the camp?
- Ukrainian citizens who are servicemen/women or veterans with injuries, wounds, or illnesses sustained while defending their homeland;
- Those who have not previously participated in sitting volleyball at the Invictus Games, Warrior Games, or US Air Force and Marine Corps competitions.

- Fill out the Google registration form;
- Await feedback by June 13, 2025;

Participation in the camp is free of charge. The organizers cover travel expenses, accommodation, and meals.
