The Ukrainian team of veterans has departed for Canada, where the Winter Invictus Games 2025 will kick off on February 8 in Vancouver and Whistler. This is the first-ever edition of the Games to feature winter sports, including biathlon, alpine skiing, skeleton, curling, and snowboarding.

The Ukrainian delegation includes 35 participants — the largest team Ukraine has ever sent to the Invictus Games.

To prepare and support the team, the CBA Initiatives Center raised 10 million UAH. These funds enabled training camps in the mountains, provided the team with specialized equipment, and ensured professional coaching support.

These Games are about more than just medals. The Ukrainian team takes to the arena as a testament that the country is alive and fighting, and that its veterans have not lost their spirit.
